Cutting it Close Mobile Salon was created in 2004 by the owner Kaaryn Johnson. Kaaryn being a single mom who had worked in the healthcare field prior to becoming a cosmetologist noticed the demand and need of a traveling hairstylist. While working with patients that needed hair replacement, she noticed the common complaint of being embarrassed about the removal of their wigs while being in a salon. She also took note of the new policies of most salons, not allowing children in the salon unless they are being serviced. Which in turn made it very difficult for her and I am sure other single moms to recieve service. After being let go due to down sizing with the healthcare company she had been with for several years, Kaaryn decided to begin her new career journey and registered to go back to school for Cosmetology. She graduated with honors from Atlanta Technical college and focused mostly her studies about alopecia. Kaaryn worked in several salons including a wig salon. She is currently the proud of Cutting it Close Mobile salon and works one day a week with an assistant living home, providing hair care services.

Our clients include business offices, group homes, nursing homes, hospitals, funeral homes, private homes, etc. We service men and women and children.
