Please stop and read this!!! I f I could give them 10 stars I would.
This company goes beyond and ensures their work. Quick story - I had a home warranty coverage on my garage. I knew the motherboard needed to be replaced. The warranty company sent another company and I was at work. The other company lied and swindled 450 dollars from my family while I wasn't there. They installed a brand new system and they installed it incorrectly. I called the warranty company they sent another worthless company that literally taped up the wiring with electrical tape. I called the warranty again and then they sent out Neighborhood garage doors.
These guys came in and saw what the other companies did and literally said "those guys are why we have bad reputations in this business." I was shocked to hear that. They then proceeded to correct everything that the previous two companies did. They apologized to me about the faulty work that was not their fault. They checked everything and made sure the work was done professionally. And to top it off they didn't try to swindle another cent from me. I wholeheartedly trust this company.

Please if you need any work done let them do it. They are courteous professional and they ensure their work is done at the top level. They are the best don't be fooled by others. GO WITH NEIGHBORHOOD GARAGE DOORS!!! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!!

My parents had a very negative experience with NGD. This is a father and son operation, with the mom as the phone operator. They were sent to us through our home warranty coverage. The son came to fix the garage door. He claimed the part was not covered under the warranty, did nothing and charged my parents $75 just for coming over.



The next time he charged them $325 to fix the door, but messed up the light sensor in the door opener. We know he did it because he was manipulating the opener pad and my parents do not touch the opener other than pusshing the button to close the door.



The third time the father came over, demanding another $75 for a 2 minutes job to fix the sensor, eventhough it was supposed to be a warranty service work. My mom refused to give the money because she already told them on the phone this is to be a warranty repair.



When my mom refused he went back and messed up the sensor again. Pure viciousness. He was also extremely rude and insultive to my mother. Please be careful when using this company. They have no concept of customer service. We have already reported the incident to our home warranty company.
