I am the landlord at a home that was cleaned by Tidy Maids at checkout. Doris was hired to make sure that the house was clean top to bottom, and she assured me that they wouldn't leave until the house was cleaned to my satisfaction. However, Doris and her crew left long before the job was done. They wiped out about half of the cabinets. The others were left filthy. They mopped part of the kitchen floor, but there were still many sticky spots when they were done. They vacuumed, but not behind or under furniture. One of the refrigerators was cleaned, but the other was disgusting. When I pointed out the thick dust that they left on the walls and baseboards, Doris came back with a mop and some cleaner. She quickly sprayed and ran her mop on top of the baseboards, but the mop didn't touch the crevices. When I pointed this out, she angrily told me that she can't get down on the floor to clean and that she sprayed it with cleaner. Tidy Maids also cleaned this house from time to time during the time it was rented, and they used some kind of spray with bleach in the bathroom. They sprayed it on the walls, and it ruined my paint, necessitating a new paint job. I think she's in the wrong business. NOTE: I gave the business three stars on promptness because I have no experience with whether they show up on time.
