      I do not recommend this company AT ALL. The owner Tom, is not an honest man. He installed a furnace for me, and I had to chase him for the thermostat (which he should have installed with the furnace). I installed another thermostat, since it tock him three months (and several requests) before he mailed it to me. The thermostat he finally sent me sat in a box, on a shelf, for five years. When I needed a new thermostat, I installed the one he sent me. It didn’t work. I called Valley Heat and asked them to replace it. They declined. They said there was nothing they could do, even though they shipped me a defective thermostat. I would stay away from these people. No wonder they have such poor reviews.

      They did not provide billing information after completion of work - instead they just charged my credit card without telling me what the cost would be and then lied about it.. The large amount charged triggered a fraud alert and Bank of America issued another card.



      The heating work was done satisfactorily - work alone would have gotten a higher rating but I cannot recommend a business with such shady billing practices.



      BBB complaint submitted and pending.
