Provided by YP.comService writers too busy to contact you and provide you updates on your car or ask for authorization of service to be performed. Called dozen times between 09/05 and 09/17, not once did we receive return call. Left messages on their machine and with a young lady in the service dept. Finally got through on 09/12 and was told that they had replaced the fuel pump. Was fed a line that they had to order the part from Germany...really! really! In this day and age you ordered a part from Germany. They said the car would be delivered to Seattle on 09/16. On 09/17 they delivered the car to Everett.
Overall, poor ineffective service and now i get to see how my car is doing. I hope their mechs are a lot better than their service writers.

Provided by YP.comI dropped my Jetta off yesterday at 3pm for an oil change (I had an appointment). My husband picked me up and Chad said they would call me when my car was ready. It was pretty busy, so I waited until 5pm to call and see if my car was ready. The girl who answered the phone said the service department was too busy to take my call so she took my name and number and would have someone call me back. I called again at 5:45 (they close at 6) and got through to Chad. He said my car was done and ready to be picked up. He said he would leave the key with the sales manager and there would be no charge for my service. I got there about 6:10 to pick up my car. When I got in the car, my service indicator still said the car needed to be serviced in 100 miles. I looked in my book and it was not signed that the service had been performed. As I walked back inside I saw Chad leaving and told him my car had been there all afternoon, he had told me it had been serviced but it had not. He apologized and made some excuse about not having his crew. He took down my name and number and said he would call me as soon as he got in in the morning so he could send someone to pick up my car and get it serviced. I left and on the way home saw the oil change sticker on my windshield. I thought maybe they had just not reset the indicator because it was so busy, but when I got home and checked the oil, it was low and very black. It is now after 6pm and I heard nothing from anyone at Steve Hahn all day. I took my car to another shop for an oil change and they said nothing on the engine had even been touched. I'm not sure why the service department tried to lie and tell me that my oil change had been done (thank goodness for the service indicator!) instead of just telling me they did not get to it. I will NEVER do business here again.
