- The Algonquin Club of Boston was started in 1888 by 50 businessmen. It was incorporated by a special Act of the Senate and House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The Club membership is open to anyone 21 years of age and above. The Club has several membership classes for resident and non-resident members, senior and junior members, retired members and other categories. The Club offers space for functions ranging from small to black-tie gala. It also provides event management services. Over the years, Presidents, heads of state, foreign dignitaries and prominent local and national leaders have enjoyed visiting the Club.
