The owner (Sergey Lyalko) has replaced the slide stop and the mag release button and installed adjustable rear sights and a tritium front sight on it. Several of my antique firearms have been restored by Serge Lyalko at Rustblue Gunsmithing in Natick, MA. His work is superb and prices very fair. He displays a great depth of professional knowledge and skill and a great degree of creative thinking in arriving at solutions to restoration issues. The most impressive work he did for me was to repair the central rod of an 1860's Bacon revolver that had been snapped in half. The revolver was in mint condition and appeared to have been broken very early in its life and set aside. Sergey took on a problem that many gunsmiths would have rejected and solved the problem restoring the pistol to like new fully functioning condition through a virtual invisible fusing of the two parts.Normal repairs are no problem for him and they are always done in surprisingly quick time and always with A+ results and appearance. He has a friendly client oriented style. He always takes the time to patiently explain his suggested approaches to restoration projects
