This past year has not been an easy one for me and my family. Due to loss of employment and financial struggles we were faced with foreclosure on our home. A friend in the real estate business suggested that we take advantage of the free short sale consultation that is offered at Barry Miller Law. We went in to the meeting with very little knowledge or understanding of what a short sale is and how it is done but came away from the consultation feeling confident that it was the best choice for us. From the very beginning Mr. Miller and his staff were professional and caring at the same time. They understand that this is not an easy thing for anyone to go through and we were so thankful for that and for their patience. I would highly recommend them to anyone else who is facing foreclosure, bankruptcy or if you are considering a short sale.

The man was extremely rude and untactful in front of my clients of whom were here from MA with their dogs waiting in the car. No one ever returned phone calls. Once closing finally took place late that evening (mind you it was suppose to be at 9am) and noone had called me back to let me know that it was not going to be on schedule, the same rude man who had a fit in the lobby in front of a coworker and two clients, never even apologized for his inappropriate and uncalled for behavior. Unfortunately, due to the seller of another deal, it looks as though I will have to attend this title company again for another closing, we shall see if they are even the slightest bit better. However, based on the fact that we are due to close very soon and noone has contacted myself or the buyer, that automatically puts them far behind every other title company that I have used in the last 11 years. Also, there were three errors that I caught that had to be remedied at the closing table that night.
